Why Do I Need Training?
Yeah, we get it – no one likes “training” (or practice). However, this ministry takes volunteers into unusual territory – prison...and if you have been there before, no worries! We would love to talk to you about joining us too. Your reentry story can encourage MANY!
In preparation for this journey, we require all volunteers to attend one of our trainings. These trainings include state-required training, PREA acknowledgement (we'll explain when you get here...) and the back-story of our Four-Seven history and mission.
